This Asian Chicken Salad is a great go-to salad to prep on the weekends and quickly put together in the morning before going to work!
Here are the ingredients:
- ¬†Red Cabbage
- Green Cabbage
- Savoy Cabbage
- Slivered Almonds
- Chinese Noodles
- Asian Sesame Dressing
Prepare for the week on Sunday!
I chopped all of my cabbage on Sunday, along with the celery, mixed it up and divided it into zip lock bags for servings. I also cooked one pack of the thin-sliced chicken breast to have ready to go during the week.
Then, in the morning, all you have to do is pour the ingredients into a bowl! Won’t take up much time and will save you money so you don’t have to buy the salad kits!
Just add one of your zip lock bags of the cabbage and celery mix, a piece of chicken, a handful of the Chinese noodles and a good amount of almonds. Put some dressing in a smaller container so nothing gets soggy and you’re ready to go! Just add your dressing at lunchtime and give it a little shake and enjoy!!
I’ve also seen people add actual sesame seeds to this and cilantro for a little extra flavor, but try your own experiments and see what you like!
